LIONS TRIO ADVANCES TO CIF-SS INDIVIDUALS: Three members of the @jserra.wrestling team earned their way into CIF-SS individual competition on Friday at the Trinity League Wresting Finals at Servite High School in Anaheim.

Senior Finnian Hannegan was the Lions’ top individual placer on Friday, as he finished second in the 175-pound weight class.

It’s the second straight year that Hannegan has come in second place at the league finals, as he finished as the runner-up at 159 pounds last season.

Senior Bradley Mills grappled his way into the postseason by placing third overall at 165 pounds.

Junior Brayden Castro also punched his ticket into playoff competition, as he placed third in the 150-pound weight class.

Hannegan, Mills, and Castro will kick off the postseason next weekend at the CIF-SS Central Division Individual Championships, which are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 13-14 at Westminster High School in Westminster.
