ESCOBAR NAMED CIF-SS PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR SECOND STRAIGHT SEASON: Congrats to recently graduated standout Liliana Escobar of the @jserra.softball team, who has been selected as the 2026 CIF-SS Division 1 Player of the Year.
It is the second straight Player of the Year award for Escobar, who was honored last season as Division 2’s top performer.
Escobar compiled an 18-5 record and broke her single-season school record with 264 strikeouts, while leading the Lions to their first ever CIF-SS title.
