ESCOABR EARNS COUNTY HONOR: Congrats to senior Liliana Escobar of the @jserra.softball team, who has been selected as the Orange County Register’s Girls Athlete of the Week.
Escobar picked up complete game wins over Santa Margarita and Orange Lutheran (both ranked in the top 5 in the county) last week to help the Lions move into a first place tie with the Lancers heading into Tuesday’s regular season finale against Mater Dei.
Escobar struck out a combined 27 batters in both wins.
