LIONS POSTGAME: Junior Vivian Grenald celebrated her birthday on Tuesday by scoring 18 of her team-high 22 points in the second half to help lead the @jserra.girlsbasketball team back from an 11-point deficit to defeat the Mission Hills Grizzlies 54-51 in a Southern Regional first round game of the CIF State Basketball Championships at JSerra Catholic High School.
Grenald talked about getting stops on defense and converting easy baskets that helped the Lions get back into the game, her surging confidence in finishing around the basket while absorbing contact, and her game-winning three-point play to propel the Lions into the second round.
