The @jserra.football team put forth another dominant home performance on Thursday, as the Lions easily dispatched the Oak Hills Bulldogs by a score of 63-0 in a nonleague contest at JSerra Catholic High School.

JSerra is now 3-1 overall and tied its’ school record for points in a game, originally setting that mark in their previous home game on August 28th against Long Beach Wilson.

The Lions jumped out to a 7-0 lead just 36 seconds into the game, as senior quarterback Hayes Cloutier connected with sophomore wide receiver Sam Fredericksen on a 24-yard touchdown reception.

JSerra pushed the lead to 14-0 just past the midway point of the opening quarter, when Cloutier rolled out to his left and lasered a 51-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Luca Deleon.

Senior running back Will Fredericksen provided a jolt late in the first quarter, finding a seam along the left side and racing 68 yards for a score to give JSerra a 21-0 lead.

Cloutier’s legs put JSerra ahead 28-0 early in the second quarter, as he found a seam in the Bulldogs defense and raced 50 yards into the end zone.

Cloutier and Sam Fredericksen combined on a 26-yard scoring strike later in the second quarter to push the Lions’ advantage to 35-0.

Senior wide receiver Clark Cokley hauled in Cloutier’s fourth touchdown pass of the first half from 30 yards out to boost the Lions lead to 42-0.

Senior defensive back Mo Habiballa put an emphatic stamp on the Lions` first half explosion with a 98-yard interception return for a touchdown to propel the Lions to a 49-0 lead at the intermission.

Sophomore wide receiver Dylan Asberry was the recipient of a 23-yard scoring pass from sophomore quarterback Jack Hilgenberg in the third quarter to make it 56-0.

Freshman Madden Cook put the final points of the game on the board late in the fourth quarter, as he blocked a Bulldogs’ field goal attempt and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown.
