After an exciting battle with the Mater Dei Monarchs, the @jserra.girlsvb team fell 3-1 in a hard-fought match.
The set scores were 23-25, 21-25, 25-18, and 23-25.

Senior Makayla Ziegler led the Lions with an outstanding 23 kills, while junior Madison Goodrich led the team defensively with 15 digs.
Ziegler also contributed 10 digs of her own.

The Lions will look to bounce back when they take on Orange Lutheran at home Thursday at 6 p.m.
