LIONS EDGE CAPO VALLEY: The @jserra.bysgolf team made it back-to-back victories over Capistrano Valley on Monday, as the Lions slipped past the Cougars 198-202 in a nonleague match at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course in Mission Viejo.
Junior Gavin Heller shot an even par score of 36 to lead the Lions, which included a birdie on the Par-5 third hole.
Freshman Deacon Teigen shot a score of 38 for his round, which also included a birdie on the third hole.
Senior Tyler Gerhardt posted a score of 39 for his round.
