Junior Jack Burnett, senior Taye Newman, senior Bradley Arrey, and junior Alden Morales of the JSerra Boys Track and Field team were spotlighted by the Orange County Register by being named to the 2025 All-County Track and Field First Team for the 4x800m relay.

The quartet made history at the CIF State Track and Field Championships at Buchanan High School in Clovis by clocking a winning time of 7:33.43 in the 4×800 meter state finals.

The victorious clocking was a state meet record and the fastest time in Orange County history.

It was also the fastest time in state history in a CIF sanctioned competition, and the second fastest time overall in state history.
