The JSerra Boys Golf team took part in the CIF-SS Division 2 Team Championship Tournament at the Bear Valley Country Club in Victorville.

The Lions, making their first appearance in the championship tournament in six years, shot a cumulative score of 387 and finished tied for 10th place overall in the 20-team field.

Sophomore Gianni Floriani was the Lions’ medalist, as he shot a one over par 73 for the round.

Floriani, who finished tied for 15th place individually, produced three birdies on the day.

Seniors Finn Yeomans and Liam McNamara each shot a score of 76 for the round, with Yeomans recording three birdies and McNamara notching two birdies.

Sophomore Gavin Heller shot a 77, which included three birdies.
