The JSerra Boys Cross Country Team enjoyed a season for the ages this past fall by claiming the program’s first ever CIF-SS and CIF State championships.

Three members of the team were honored for their performance amongst their county peers.

Senior Alden Morales was selected to the All-County First Team.

Morales placed eighth at the CIF-SS Division 4 Finals and was 10^th at the CIF State Cross Country Championships, helping lead the way to the Lions first ever state title.

Seniors Jack Burnett and Luke Friedl earned All-County Second Team Honors.

Burnett spearheaded the Lions’ win at the CIF-SS Division 4 Finals by placing fifth, while Friedl finished in seventh place.

Both finished in the top 20 at the CIF State Cross Country Championships.
