Three members of the JSerra Wrestling team grappled their way into CIF-SS individual competition at the Trinity League Wresting Finals at Servite High School in Anaheim.

Senior Finnian Hannegan was the Lions’ top individual placer, as he finished second in the 175-pound weight class.

It’s the second straight year that Hannegan has come in second place at the league finals, as he finished as the runner-up at 159 pounds last season.

Senior Bradley Mills earned his way into the postseason by placing third overall at 165 pounds.

Junior Brayden Castro also punched his ticket into playoff competition, as he placed third in the 150-pound weight class.

Hannegan, Mills, and Castro will compete at the CIF-SS Central Division Individual Championships, which are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 13-14 at Westminster High School in Westminster.
