The @jserra.girlsvb team fell to the Mater Dei Monarchs 23-25, 21-25, 25-18, 23-25
in a hard-fought Trinity League match on Tuesday at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana.
Senior Makayla Ziegler led the Lions with a team-high 23 kills and 10 digs.
Junior Cassie Bartholomew added nine kills and two blocks.
Junior Kendall Stark accumulated a team-leading 40 assists.
Senior Rochelle Dous had a team-leading 17 digs, while junior Madi Goodrich added 15 digs.
The Lions will look to bounce back when they host Orange Lutheran on Senior Night on Thursday at 6 p.m.
