LIONS WELL-REPRESENTED ON ALL-COUNTY TEAM
The JSerra Girls Cross Country team stamped their place into school, county, and state record books this fall, as the Lions took home their fifth straight CIF-SS and CIF State Championships.
Three runners who helped them achieve those historical collective accomplishments have been spotlighted amongst their county peers.
Freshman Maya Pawlowicz and Brooklyn Tennant were named the All-County First team.
Pawlowicz was the Lions top performing runner at both the CIF-SS Division 4 Finals (placing second) and at the CIF Division 4 State Championships (finishing seventh).
Tennant was the team’s No. 2 runner at both meets, finishing third at the CIF-SS Finals and 10th at the state meet.
Junior Reese Holley was selected to the All-County Second Team.
Holley crossed the finish line in fifth place at the CIF-SS Finals and finished 14th overall at the state meet.
