Senior Brady Schaefgen and sophomore Michael Geffre of the JSerra Boys Tennis team acquitted themselves in solid fashion at the state’s most prestigious competition, as the duo represented the Lions at the 2025 Ojai Tennis Tournament.

Schaefgen and Geffre started the tournament by defeating Brentwood High’s Grant Fisher and Jonah Schweitzer by scores of 6-2 and 6-4.

Later, the Lions’ duo took down the Canyon High of Anaheim pairing of Brayden Toniolo and Nathan Alcala by scores of 6-1 and 6-1.

The Lions duo were defeated in the Round of 16 by the Harvard-Westlake duo of Christian Stubbeman and Chase Klugo.
